Notes: Second US funicular - since 1938, dismantled in 1989, Mt Cranmore Skimobile in New Hampshire, which was a different take on the funicular, and the only lift of its kind in the world until its removal in the early '90's. It featured carriages (or skimobiles) that rolled on a wooden track up and down the mountain pulled by a single cable.
