Notes: This dam is downstream from the Hoover Dam. It spans the border between Arizona and Nevada. It is named after Arthur Powell Davis, who was the director of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation from 1914 to 1932. This dam was completed in 1951. This is a zoned earthfill dam with a concrete spillway, 1600 feet (490 m) in length at the crest, and 200 feet (60 meters) high.
