Notes: Lava Beds National Monument is laced with a pattern of lava tubes and massive lava flows. The geological activity is very recent, and the sharp rough landscape shows its young exsitence. I love the moon like quality of scenery and the quietness that surrounds this natural area. Its almost like the flows were still active just yesterday.
