About this snake:
Albinism, resulting from the lack of normal pigmentation,
is a naturally occurring event. However, in the wild, such remarkable
coloration (or lack of) usually results in premature death because
of high visibility to potential predators. In captivity, herpetoculturists
often selectively breed color variants in the hopes of producing
striking color patterns.
